For Next CLASS - today in class to discuss the course content and I gave two assignments. The first assignment is to establish your Weebly webpage for the course. On this page you'll paste class notes for every week as well as updates and final Versions of your projects. For next class create a blog entry with two responses to the following questions-question number one is defined the democratic technology with an example not discussed in class. Your response should be about three or four paragraphs. Use the presentation above to help but any other online resources are okay too. Assignment number two is to think about Technology and how you analyze whether to use it or not. Are there any technologies that have come along that you've looked up and said no to? Give examples. Now these technologies can be more than just media technologies. They could be medical and health related, they can be Business or industrial as well.
In class we began the partner media projects. After interviewing your partner on camera take that media and use it to construct a 60 second multimedia piece that represents the partners interests and history. You can continue to work on this between our classes, you can use zoom or your phones to record the interviews. It would be great to have a draft for next class but I will give you some class time to work on these if needed.

Week 6
This is my collection of AI Articles. Please do not wait until just before class to read these, space them out. There are many new concepts here that will take some time to digest and comprehend. https://www.pinterest.com/102shu/md-artificial-intelligence/
Please read and notate at least 10 of these by next Thursday's class. We will spend the entire class discussing your chosen readings. Please post your notes to your class notes page. Many of you do not have complete websites. Here is what you need to complete: 1. your demtech website needs a main page for all of your class projects. 2. Instead of a class notes page, you should have a 200 word descriptions of the partner project embedded with the visual project on the main page. 3. Your timeless tech project should be posted to your project page with a few paragraphs explaining how the project was created. Include a description of your contributions and all videos, images and other materials. 4. you could make project pages for each of these projects if you think that would be better.
